Hello everyone!.

I'm writing this quick little journal entry to you from a small little cubicle in the library of Georgian College. I'm waiting for 11 o'clock to roll around so I can register for my courses for next semester. We found out today that we have an 8 am class on Fridays, and needless to say, we were all pretty pissed. But, meh, what are ya gonna do?

How's everyone doing? Excited for the holidays? I know I am. Went home just this past weekend, and got a taste of Christmas at home. Family, tree, lights, the whole deal. And I can't wait for that glorious Christmas morning when I wake up and run out in my pajamas to open presents. And yes, I'm 20 years old. And yes, I still do that. Christmas is amazing! How could I NOT celebrate it in my own personal way!? Sheesh. I think anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas morning in their p.j's, with Christmas music playing in the background has seriously lost their sense of freedom, and of childhood. I hope all of you do it.

Ok, this is perhaps the most boring entry ever, so I shall bid you adieu.

Hi!

I just have to tell you about this crazy experience I had this lovely evening.

I went to Second Cup tonight with three friends of mine. It's kind of a thing we do sometimes. Kind of random, but it's a really fun experience where we just get together and talk, and half a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever we feel like at the time. It's great.

OK!

So, anyway, I had already drank a medium sized caramel macchiato (sp?), and I was feeling a pretty good caffeine buzz. My friend Megan had ordered something new, and unfortunately, didn't really care for it, so she offered to give it to me. I accepted for two reasons.

1) I'm always up for a caffeine rush

and

2) I'm an idiot

The reason I'm an idiot is because both of these delicious beverages contain a hell of a lot of caffeine. A LOT! So, I started drinking her drink (chocolate mint latte) and after a few sips, I started to see stars. Then my head started spinning. Then I felt quizzy. Then really happy. It was the strangest experience.

About 10 minutes later or so, we left, and as soon as the cool breeze hit my face, I felt like I was going to black out. My knees were weak, my head was twirling, my arms were twitching....overall, I was kind of messed up. I had to rest for a few seconds before getting into my friends van. And truth be told, I felt a little drunk. Obviously I couldn't have been, cause I hadn't taken a sip of alcohol. But I felt the same way. Dizzy, but laughing uncontrollably, and feeling kind of, out of place.

Has anyone else had this kind of experience with too much caffeine?

'Cause I haven't.

Well, that's my story. I don't know why, but I felt I just had to write this story down. I had to remember it...for some reason.

Anyways, I gotta run....I'm thirsty.
